LIST OF BASEBALL ENTRANCE MUSIC

In baseball, some players choose to have their appearance in a game be punctuated by a musical selection. The most common forms are for a relief pitcher charging out of the bullpen or for a hitter approaching the batter's box for an at bat.
Player music selection generally relates to a player's ethnic heritage, birthplace, name, or a characteristic of them as a player. Sometimes, it is just a song the player or the audio staff enjoys.
All teams listed are current or for retired players the team with which they are best known.

Notes and Explanations

1. The line "Can't find a better man", sounds like "Can't find a Betemit".
2. Byrnes picked this song for the "Burn, Baby, Burn" chorus.
3. Clemens's nickname is "Rocket."
4. Damon is good friends with band members of Sevendust.
5. Gordon's nickname is "Flash."
6. Hrabosky's nickname was "The Mad Hungarian."
7. The opening chord sequence matches the syllables in his name.
8. Lo Duca was born in Brooklyn.
9. Looper chose this as a tribute to Trevor Hoffman.
10. Jay-Z name-checks Pierre in the song
11. Following Rocker's now-infamous comments about various ethnic groups, Twisted Sister requested that Rocker and the Braves no longer play the song, a request with which Rocker complied.
12. Saenz is from Panama.
13. Saltalamacchia's nickname is "Salty."
14. Briefly used at the start of the 2007 season (Sheffield's first with the Detroit Tigers).
15. Used primarily because of the similarity between Shouse's name and the song title.
16. Spiezio is a member of Sandfrog.
