Cobra (shÅnen/seinen) - Published between 1991-1992. Featured the shÅnen manga Space adventure Cobra, the seinen manga Crying Freeman (by Ryoichi Ikegami) and Pineapple Army (by Naoki Urasawa).

Magnum (now defunct) - A comics magazine for action/adventure comics. (Popular comics included Judge Dredd, Cat Claw, Axa and later many Vertigo comics.) Featured Akira in issues 4-9/1997 (after which the magazine ceased publication).
