 | Top 10 Punk Bands I always considered bands like blink-182, fall out boy, and (present day)afi as a sort of punk influenced Alternative Pop band. Many people will hate the fact that I put Sex Pistols and The Clash not in this video. Well, Sex pistols didn't make that great of music in my opinion. I don't like too much of 70's Punk. I prefer other types of punk such as Ska (Operation Ivy), Hardcore (Bad Brains). I feel sorry for a lot of bands I didn't include such as Sham 69, NOFX, Anti-Flag, and Screeching Weasel. The Clash are on of my all time favorite bands jumping in on my top 25 favorite bands list, but how could you call them punk? They were more like rock than punk.(Also, only a couple of bands off my favorite punk bands video would be included in my top 10 all time favorites list). It's really hard to say songs from the Clash like "The Magnificent Seven" or "Rock The Casbah" could even have anything to do with punk culture. If you hate my video or disagree with my video, please instead of doing something stupid like leaving a hate comment, why not instead make your own top 10 punk bands video in response. |
