LIST OF TALLEST BUILDINGS IN EUROPE

While skyscrapers remain sparser in Europe than in Asia or the Americas, a significant number of cities still distinguish themselves by the number of highrise buildings they host. While traditional cities hosting highrise buildings such as Paris, Frankfurt or London remain very active, skyscrapers in the recent years have also boomed in other cities such as Istanbul, Warsaw, Madrid and Moscow, the latter having the tallest projects.
Since its inauguration in 2007, the tallest skyscraper in Europe is Moscow's 268 metre Naberezhnaya Tower block C. Another tower of over 506 metres, known as the Federation Tower is currently under construction in the same city and should become the European tallest at its inauguration planned for 2009.
