★ Just after the album was recorded and finished and ready for inspection by their record label, producer Chris Thomas said to the band that the album didn't have a "hit" so he ordered Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence to write a song by the next morning to record. They did accomplish it in the end, and the song was ''"What You Need"'', their most successful single from the album.
