The 'Liszt School of Music Weimer' (in German: Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar) is an academy of music in Weimar, Germany.
It was founded on June 24th, 1872, as an orchestral school at the encouragement of the pianist and composer Franz Liszt after whom the school is named. The school now provides tuition in all orchestral instruments, as well as piano and conducting.
