LITTLE MALVERN

'Little Malvern' is a small village south of Malvern Wells in Worcestershire, England. It contains a Romanesque church called Little Malvern Priory, because, once there was a priory attached. Next door to the church is the historic house, Little Malvern Court, home to the Berington family for over four centuries. The gardens of Little Malvern court are open, occasionally, to the public. The composer Edward Elgar is buried at St. Wulstan's church.
On Monday the 15th August 1847 a Mr Commissioner Mayne and his sons were out on a walk on search of geological items of interest.Whilst overturning stones, Mr Cox. Mayne came unexpectedly upon a considerable number of second brass Roman coins.
