Year At The School
Schedules
The days at school begin from eight in the morning to 2:50 p.m. On Wednesdays there is a "collaboration" schedule where the classes start about an hour later but still end at 2:50 p.m. On Activity Schedule, there is a period of about thirty minutes where students spend time to relax, study, work, or attend club meetings. However, the students have to be in a classroom or the Library.
Minimum Days
On "Minimum" Days, students start at eight in the morning and leave at noon. Usually, Minimum Days are scheduled due to final exams or part of state testing. There are some minimum days before holidays.
Vacation Days
Students receive various vacation days including the holidays. The Thanksgiving Vacation, as an example, is where students do not attend classes for the entire week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Summer vacation usually begins around early June and students return to school at mid-August.[1].
Students
The school puts on dances, plays, and rallies for students.
2007 will mark the 82nd Annual graduation for the students. School will resume on August 13, 2007. Round-up is when students get their schedules and textbooks. This is in August, before school starts.
