Geography
Long Valley is located at (40.786728, -74.776516).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 12.2 km² (4.7 mi²), all land. However, this is incorrect as there are several bodies of water, including several man-made lakes used for agriculture and the small Raritan river. Also, much of Long Valley is part of Schooley's Mountain, a tall ridge that contrasts greatly with the rest of the region.
