Character History

She blew into town in 1984 to see her long lost cousin, Monica Quartermaine. She Lorena moved to Port Charles to open Avalon Spas and to drain the Quartermaine bank accounts with that motive. She took up with Edward Quartermaine 's illegitimate son Jimmy Lee Holt and made an enemy of his cousin, Celia Quartermaine.
Soon her sidekick, Leo Russell was added to the mix. Together they blackmailed wealthy matrons.
Her strain on the Quartermaines hospitality and fortune cause Edward's heart attack. Prior to leaving Port Charles, she married Derek Barrington, the son of wealthy socialite Amanda Barrington, and moved to Nebraska to decorate her new mansion.
