LORIMER STREET (BMT JAMAICA LINE)

'Lorimer Street' is a local station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Lorimer Street and Broadway in Brooklyn, it is served by the train at all times except weekdays in the peak direction, and the train at all times except late nights and weekends. The train bypasses the station when it operates.
The north exit to Wallabout Street once had a mezzanine, but has since been removed. The south exit to Lorimer Street has a crossunder and on the northbound side is a work stair leading to a level above the mezzanine. Some sections of the windscreen features mesh to allow a view of the streets below.
The 2002 artwork here is called ''Roundlet Series'' by Annette Davidek.[1] It has a floral and vines theme.
