LOVEJOY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

'Lovejoy Independent School District' is a public school district in Collin County, Texas (USA).
The district serves the city of Lucas, most of Fairview, and a small portion of Allen.
The name is taken from a resident of the area (Mrs. J.L. Lovejoy) who was a strong proponent of education.
All high school (grades 9 through 12) students were bussed to Allen High School in the neighboring Allen Independent School District, until fall 2006, when Lovejoy High School opened [1].
