LUJHOU CITY

'Lujhou' (; Postal map spelling: Luchou; Taiwanese: Lô·-chiu) is a city in the northwestern part of Taipei County, Taiwan of the Republic of China. Historically called Lō·-chiu (鷺州) and Hê-siūⁿ-chiu (和尚州).

★ Population: 177,232 people (2003)

★ Households: 53923 houses (2003)

Lujhou Line of the Taipei Rapid Transit System is under construction.
Take the R9 to go to the Jang-Jien MRT station.
