Character Bio

He is a light blue moose with apparently very low intelligence, bad teeth, distorted eyes and mismatched antlers. Known to be the big brother, or perhaps babysitter of many of the other characters. He usually means well but is a completely inept and extremely unintelligent. Furthermore, he screams like a girl. Although Lumpy generally never killed anyone by design, he is portrayed as a villain for the first time in "Dunce Upon a Time".
He is one of the few grown-up characters in the show and the only character with a standard nose with two nostrils (the smaller Happy Tree Friends all have heart-shaped noses). Plus, he is the only one whose hands don't turn mitten-esque like the others. Lumpy has probably appeared in the most episodes out of all the other Tree Friends, and most fans consider him the odd one out due to his height and lack of a normal Happy Tree Friend style face. There were some arguments about him being too close to Bullwinkle the Moose and "Montgomery Moose", the group's leader of The Get-Along Gang, so his right antler was drawn upside down. Lumpy has had many occupations in many episodes, including teacher, ticket clerk, bus driver, convenience store owner, police officer, and more. He is usually a fill-in character like Wooldoor Sockbat from Drawn Together. He is often shown in tremendously incongruous situations, such as lounging lazily, shirtless, in a hammock, while the rest of the Happy Tree Friends gang are playing in the snow, as seen in "Snow What? That's What!". His low intelligence is often the cause of other characters' deaths, and sometimes his own, In fact Lumpy has caused the death every character at least once, except Splendid and Cro-Marmot. He lives in a trashy trailer and drives a Lincoln Continental. His MySpace account mentions that his favorite food is cheese, his favorite dessert is cheesecake, and that he likes to talk to lettuce.
Lumpy sometimes kills several characters at once, like in "Stealing the Spotlight", in which his Christmas lights are so bright that they match the sun, so several characters either burst into flames, explodes, disintegrates or dies in some other horrific fashion (Lumpy's eyes melt after taking off the goggles and probably died).
From the episode, "Aw, Shucks", he was seen busting the door with an axe and exclaimed "He-e-e-e-re's LUMPY!" It was a reference to the character Jack Torrance who exclaimed, "He-e-e-e-re's JOHNNY!", from the horror movie, Stephen King's The Shining.
Lumpy was actually the reason Flippy had fought his flipped-out self. If he hadn't seen a psychiatrist, Flippy would have still been the same as always.
Lumpy wears the invisible T-shirt that blends in with his skin, when he takes it off he could be seen naked, as seen in "You're Bakin' Me Crazy" and "Let It Slide".
From the episode, "Snow Place to Go", the only proof that Lumpy still lives is if the electric can opener turned on, which means he hasn't died at all.
Whenever Lumpy considers a task done, he lets out an assured "Mmm-hmm!"
He's probably the second character to have the longest tongue shown from "Icy You".
When the rest of the characters have visible ears, Lumpy has the inner earholes which are evident in "Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow".
It is announced that Lumpy is one of the three playable characters for the XBOX 360 video game, .
He also knits things like a sweater, a cap which looks like one of his antlers, and a net as it is shown in "Asbestos I Can Do".
In the Second Servings DVD, Lumpy has his own brand of sponge cakes called "Holiday Kringles", which look like Twinkies.
He also appears to have blue eyes in "Concrete Solution pt. 1" when looking into a nailgun which would not work (it was unplugged). He ends up killing Handy after he plugs it in.

Main Character

Lumpy has become the de facto main character now, he's made an appearance in every TV series episode except "And the Kitchen Sink", "Easy For You To Sleigh", and "Autopsy Turvy (not Double Whammy part two)". The creators have admitted that because they use him so often, while writing episodes they have said "Okay, we have to not put Lumpy in this episode", because they think the show is slowly becoming "Lumpy and the Happy Tree Friends."
Lumpy has also gained the most starring roles in the first season, having starred in sixteen episodes, surpassing the average amount of starring roles, the average amount of starring roles from the first season was three starring roles per character or less, with the exceptions of Sniffles, who gained six starring roles, and Lifty & Shifty, who starred in four episodes. Lumpy is also one of the four center characters, along with Toothy, Giggles and Cuddles.
And, if you add all of the starrings he had in the internet, TV and irregular episodes, he has had a total of 38 starring roles.

Additional Deaths

Lumpy is one of the four main characters of the series, and is one of the few characters used for advertisements, commercials, and promotions and because of that he had additional death scenes that are featured in various promos. Why would these death be counted, well for one, they are original, they are official promos drawn and voiced by the creators therefore it has a legitamite reason to be added to the death count, as those found in the Internet, TV, Smoochie and Kringle deaths.
#DVD Third Strike Promo: Lumpy's head is severed in a lake and ends up sinking. Presumably killed by Flippy since Flippy is seen killing 3 baby ducks in the same lake in the same promo earlier.
#T-Shirt Promo: Lumpy is running with a stick and trips and falls on the stick which goes right through his head.
That's an additional 2 deaths to be added to the original count.

Injuries

#Wheelin' and Dealin': He gets caught on fire in his kart.
#Out on a Limb: Gets struck under a fallen tree, amputates the wrong leg with a spoon, and ends up punching the other leg with a paper clip.
#Icy You: Tongue stuck on pop-maker, and then wipes the blood and Slushie mess that Nutty has made after his death, and trips on it.
#Remains to be Seen: Flippy bites half of his arm off, later the arm attacks him.
#Stealing the Spotlight: Lumpy decorates his house with lights, and flips the switch. The lights go on, burning everything and destroying the moon. His antlers burn up, and his eyes melt from his extreme heat.
