'M/S ''Galaxy''' is a cruiseferry operated by the Estonian ferry company Tallink on a route connecting Helsinki, Finland to Tallinn, Estonia. She was built in 2006 by Aker Finnyards, Rauma as the largest ship ever delivered to Tallink. As of 2007, she is the longest cruiseferry (but not the longest ferry) to operate in the northern Baltic Sea. She is also the largest ship ever to be registered in Estonia. The ship's unique external livery has been designed by the Estonian artist Navitrolla.
In April 2007, Tallink announced that Galaxy will be transferred to the Stockholm — Turku route in 2008, following delivery of her currently unnamed sister ship (NB 1361). According to an article in Hämeen Sanomat, she will replace M/S ''Silja Festival''. According to an interview of Tuomas Nylund in Turun Sanomat, she will be moved under Finnish or Swedish flag and be painted in Silja Line colours.[1]
