'MY-YTV' is the MyNetworkTV affiliate in Youngstown, Ohio, run by WYTV, Youngstown's local ABC affiliate. It is owned and operated by Chelsey Broadcasting, and is broadcasted on WYTV's digital signal, on digital channel 33.2 / 36.2.

On June 13th, 2006, WYTV announced that it would launch a new channel in Fall 2006 called "MY-YTV", featuring the new MyNetworkTV network. MY-YTV airs a mixture of national and local programs in addition to a 10 PM newscast. The new station will air 18 hours of original local programming each week and another 30½ hours of local programming that is not original.
The move makes WYTV the last full-power station to launch a secondary channel in Youngstown, and creates the market's second 10 PM newscast. WYTV also announced plans to build a satellite, streetside news studio in downtown Youngstown.
Chelsey Television has registered the MYYTV.TV domain for its launch, however currently that domain goes to a redirect site [1].

Programming

The station carries reruns of shows also aired on WYTV, as well as the following original programs:

★ ''For the People'': Public affairs programs focusing on community issues. Airs at 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays. The live show also simulcasts on WSOM-AM from 3 to 5 p.m.

★ ''MySports Talk'', A live half-hour program focusing on local sports. Airs at 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

★ ''Increase the Peace'': Scheduled to air Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9:30 a.m., the show will seek ways to overcome the problem of gang violence in Youngstown.
In addition, the station will allow 1½ hours of programming prepared by area high school television production classes every weekend.

In addition to airing programming from MyNetworkTV, My-YTV also offers programming from America One as a secondary network affiliate, along with ABC programming not cleared by the main WYTV channel.
Armstrong Cable, one of the market's largest cable systems, carries MY-YTV on channel 13, replacing WUAB, the MNTV affiliate in Cleveland. In addition, Comcast and Time Warner systems also carries the new service -- Comcast carries MY-YTV on analog, though on Time Warner, it is available only on a digital package. [2] [3]
