'Macleod' is a federal electoral district in Alberta, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1908 to 1968 and since 1988. It is a rural riding in southwest Alberta, representing the municipal districts of Foothills, Willow Creek, Pincher Creek and Ranchland, as well as Vulcan County and Kananaskis Country.

History
This riding was originally created in 1907 from parts of District of Alberta and Calgary ridings.
It was abolished in 1966 when it was redistributed into Rocky Mountain, Palliser Crowfoot, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat ridings.
It was re-created in 1987 from Bow River, Lethbridge—Foothills, Medicine Hat and Wild Rose ridings.

Current Member of Parliament
Its Member of Parliament is Ted Menzies, a former farmer. He was first elected in 2004. He represents the Conservative Party of Canada. In the 38th Parliament he was the Conservative critic for Internal Trade and Interprovincial Trade and the critic for International Cooperation. He also served as vice-chair on the 'Subcommittee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade' and a member on the 'Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade'. In the 39th Parliament, Menzies was appointed parliamentary secretary to Josée Verner, who is presently the Minister for International Cooperation, Minister responsible for Official Languages, and Minister responsible for La Francophonie.
