MALETTO

'Maletto' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 140 km east of Palermo and about 40 km northwest of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,051 and an area of 40.9 km².^[1]
Maletto borders the following municipalities: Adrano, Belpasso, Biancavilla, Bronte, Castiglione di Sicilia, Nicolosi, Randazzo, Sant'Alfio, Zafferana Etnea.
