MAMEGOMA
'Mamegoma'('まめゴマ') are several unusual Japanese characters that were created by the San-X company. Mamegoma means "bean sesame", and they are seals seen in a variety of different colors. These include white, solid blue, solid pink, pink and white, blue and white, light brown with dark brown stripes, light brown with dark brown spots, and black and white.
The seals are often depicted as being small enough (12 cm) to live in a common goldfish bowl , usually with a few ice cubes to keep the water nice and cool. They weigh around 200 g. They've also been shown in advertisements and merchandise in bath tubs, relaxing on a wheel in a hamster cage, etc.
