MARANELLO

'Maranello' is a town in the region of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy, 18 km from Modena (population 16.501). It is probably best known as the home of Ferrari S.p.A. and the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racing team. Maranello was also home to coachbuilding firm Carrozzeria Scaglietti, now owned by Ferrari.
Maranello has been the location for the Ferrari factory since the company was first created by Enzo Ferrari in 1929. The public museum Galleria Ferrari, which displays sports and racing cars and trophies, is also located here.
Near Maranello is the town of Fiorano Modenese where the Fiorano Circuit is located, a private track owned by Ferrari for its car testing.
