'Marianne de Pierres' is an Australian science fiction author.
The greater body of her work has seen publication in the UK and Australia. As of 2005, her series of novels with the protagonist Parrish Plessis, a postapocalyptic bodyguard and bounty hunter, is being published in the United States through Roc Books. The novels in this series include ''Nylon Angel'', ''Code Noir'', and ''Crash Deluxe'' and have been adapted into a role-playing game. The first book of her new ''Sentients of Orion'' space opera series is called ''Dark Space''. The second book, available in 2008, will be called ''Chaos Space''.
