Kitty's Dish
'''Kitty's Dish''' is an animated television pilot created by the San Francisco, California animation studio Wild Brain for Walt Disney Television Animation. The story centers around a teenage girl, Kitty, and her friends Lily and Josh. Kitty writes a blog about the goings on at her local junior high school and is quick to give sensible advice, but unlikely to apply it to her own life.
Kitty's Dish was directed by Mark Risley, written by Elaine Aronson, art direction by Nick Hewitt, storyboarded by Tron Mai and Frank Jen and produced by Jeff Fino & Richard Quon. The cast included Amanda Michalka, Dion Quon and Adam Wylie.
The pilot was created using multiple animation techniques; Kitty's world was brought to life with CG animation and the blogosphere, in which she interacted, was produced using 2D and Flash animation.
