MARK WARAWA
'Mark Warawa' (born May 7, 1950) is a Canadian politician. Formerly a businessman and loss prevention officer as well as a city councillor in Abbotsford, British Columbia from 1990 to 2004. Warawa was first elected as a Conservative in the 2004 election in the newly created district of Langley. He was re-elected in the 2006 election.
On February 10, 2006, Warawa was named parliamentary secretary to the Minister of the Environment. Less recently, he served as a member of the Standing Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
He and his wife, Diane, live in Langley and have five children.
