MARTIN OF LAON

'Martin' was the count of Laon in the late 7th century. He was the son of Ansegisel and Begga and brother of Pepin of Heristal. He married Bertha, daughter of Theuderic III, and had a son, Charibert, who was Charlemagne's maternal grandfather.
