MATHEY COLLEGE

'Mathey College' is one of six residential colleges at Princeton University. Located in the Northwest corner of the Princeton Campus, its dormitories and other buildings are predominantly in the Collegiate Gothic style. Beginning with the fall of 2007, Mathey will be a four-year residential college, paired with the two-year Rockefeller College.
Most of Mathey College is centered around a central courtyard. Campbell Hall, Joline Hall, Blair Hall, Hamilton Hall, and Edwards Hall make up the residential college. Part of Little Hall will become part of Mathey in the fall of 2007.
Hamilton Hall and Edwards Hall are not on the main courtyard, though they are both adjacent. Only Edwards Hall is not the Collegiate Gothic style.
Next year, with the introduction of Whitman College and the four-year residential college system, Mathey will become a four-year college, consisting of Blair Hall, Joline Hall, Hamilton Hall, Edwards Hall, and some of Campbell and Little Halls.
Mathey College is famous for Blair Arch, featured prominently in the movie ''A Beautiful Mind''. As the largest arch at Princeton, Blair Arch hosts many arch sings, a capella concerts held in the arch.
Mathey College is named after Dean Mathey '12, a prominent member of the Princeton community.
The current dean is Dr. Steven Lestition.
