Astrology Planetary Associations or "What's that Planet mean
Each of the twelve signs, like Aries, Taurus and Gemini etc., are not only about the Sun, but their associate planet as well. Very often, a good astrologer will recognize what your sun sign doesn't say about you through the placement of its associate, known as its ruling planet. The ruling planet for Aries and Scorpio is Mars, and as an associate to Aries and Scorpio, Mars may reveal far more about you than your sun sign.

Remembering Hamamatzu, Japan(日本)-part-2
My trip and my footage of Japan, Hamamatzu. Japan (日本 Nihon or Nippon ? , officially 日本国 Nippon-koku (help·info) or Nihon-koku) is an island country in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of China, Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea in the south. The characters that make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is sometimes identified as the "Land of the Rising Sun". Japan comprises over 3,000 islands,[1] the largest of which are Honshū, Hokkaidō, Kyūshū and Shikoku, together accounting for 97% of land area. Most of the islands are mountainous, many volcanic; for example, Japan's highest peak, Mount Fuji, is a volcano. Japan has the world's tenth largest population, with about 128 million people. The Greater Tokyo Area, which includes the capital city of Tokyo and several surrounding prefectures, is the largest metropolitan area in the world, with over 30 million residents. Archaeological research indicates that people were living on the islands of Japan as early as the Upper Paleolithic period. The first written mention of Japan begins with brief appearances in Chinese history texts from the first century AD. Influence from the outside world followed by long periods of isolation has characterized Japan's history. Since adopting its constitution in 1947, Japan has maintained a unitary constitutional monarchy with an emperor and an elected parliament, the Diet. A major economic power,[2] Japan has the world's second largest economy by nominal GDP. It is a member of the United Nations, G8, G4 and APEC, with the world's fifth largest defense budget. It is also the world's fourth largest exporter and sixth largest importer and a world leader in technology and machinery.
Medicine Head - Rising Sun 1973
Medicine Head - Rising Sun 1973 (1973 in Charts: UK No. 11, DE No. 8) Come on down the road before the sun Get high in your heart and have some fun Hey, cravin' like the way you look You're open like a child's first book Oh, when you speak it's just like a symphony Oh, your fingers touch me with poetry Don't underestimate what you mean to me You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun, aha You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun Come on baby, jump inside my truck Don't worry, you know you got good luck All you do is put your right foot out That move'll show you what's all about Oh, when you speak it's just like a symphony Oh, your fingers touch me with poetry Don't underestimate what you mean to me You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun, aha You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun

dEUS: Disappointed in the Sun
I uploaded this video temporarily so it could be embedded for a few days, if the band or the original uploader have objections, I will delete asap. My mission was accomplished anyway. ;) Thanks to nunofialho for uploading and dEUS for their great music. This song has great symbolism, wether intended or not. lyrics: Who could tell the story better About the things that I went through Some were great but most were terrifying and so spooky too Had to get out of there, to hide away Had to get out of there, to find my way I troubled everything too soon Now where I want to be is Where I want to be is Need I say my only wish was To escape my earthly life High skies were no option whereas Diving deep in oceans wide Was the way for me, to hide away A possibility, to leave today I troubled everything too soon Now where I want to be is Where I want to be is Under the sea is where I'll be No talking 'bout the rain no more I wonder what thunder will mean, when only in my dream The lightning comes before the roar Circumstantial situations, now I know what people meant Beware of the implications, God I've had enough of them Decided to be brave and find a way Just picking out a wave and slide away I troubled everything too soon Now where I want to be is Where I want to be is Maybe taking it another hour then taking away the pain Maybe taking it another hour then taking away the pain Maybe taking it another hour then taking away the pain Then taking away the pain Then taking away the pain Then taking away the pain I troubled everything too soon Now where I want to be is Where I want to be is Under the sea, is where I'll be No talking 'bout the rain no more I wonder what thunder will mean, when only in my dream The lightning comes before the roar Under the sea, down here with me I find I'm not the only one Who ponders what life would mean if we hadn't been So disappointed in the sun And that's why we're thinking That's why we're drinking in a bar under the sea And that's why we're thinking That's why we're drinking in a bar under the sea
[Apr 28/07] SMT's The Mikado: Yum-Yum - "The Sun"
Yum-Yum (Natasha Negovanlis) sings, "The Sun, Whose Rays Are All Ablaze". We went to go see David in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado", presented by Scarborough Music Theatre. I started taping this because I thought David was going to be in this number, but he wasn't. Now, realize this: this girl is only 17 YEARS OLD, and has the most accomplished voice in the entire cast. 17, people. Yeah. It made me kinda wanna kick her in the throat too (but not really, so don't go crazy people - it's just jokes). LYRICS ====== The sun, whose rays Are all ablaze With ever-living glory, Does not deny His majesty — He scorns to tell a story! He don't exclaim, "I blush for shame, So kindly be indulgent." But, fierce and bold, In fiery gold, He glories all effulgent! I mean to rule the earth, As he the sky — We really know our worth, The sun and I! I mean to rule the earth, As he the sky — We really know our worth, The sun and I! Observe his flame, That placid dame, The moon's Celestial Highness; There's not a trace Upon her face Of diffidence or shyness: She borrows light That, through the night, Mankind may all acclaim her! And, truth to tell, She lights up well, So I, for one, don't blame her! Ah, pray make no mistake, We are not shy; We're very wide awake, The moon and I! Ah, pray make no mistake, We are not shy; We're very wide awake, The moon and I!
