MEDICAL/MARKET CENTER STATION

'Medical/Market Center Station' is a commuter rail station located along the Stemmons Corridor (Interstate 35E) of north Dallas, Texas at Motor Street and Medical Center Drive, northwest of downtown Dallas. It opened in December 1996 and is a station on the TRE commuter line, serving Dallas Market Hall and the nearby medical district which includes Parkland Memorial Hospital, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, St. Paul Medical Center and Zale Lipshy University Hospital. Ultimately, it will be a station on the future and light rail lines when Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) constructs them through the area.
