MELISSA-ASHLEY

'Melissa-Ashley' (born August 24, 1978 as 'Melissa Weiland') is a U.S. pornographic film actress and model. She has appeared on a number of websites, filmed over 70 adult movies and appeared in more than 110 adult videos as of 2005. The name "Melissa-Ashley" is a pseudonym combined from her true first name, Melissa, as well as one of her common internet stage names, "Ashley". She was most commonly credited as "Anne Howe" in her early career.

She was born to Mary Anne Weiland, a 1970s pornographic actress who left the business after her daughter was born. According to Melissa-Ashley her mother was open about her experiences in pornography, and she decided to become a pornographic actress herself when she turned 18. Melissa-Ashley started as a lingerie model in Phoenix, Arizona, where she lived at that time. Her mother recommended that she receive breast implants, but Melissa-Ashley decided against it and held off pursuing pornography as a career for a couple of years.
In 1998, in response to a modeling advertisement in a local newspaper's classifieds, she shot her first nude pictorial for a Phoenix company, RWB. This company was a content provider for adult websites and also produced a series of indepenent porn videos. Soon after she shot her first adult video with this same company. She then appeared in several other independent porn videos and on a number of adult websites as well as in a few adult magazine layouts. In these early videos and pictures she often appeared in girl-girl scenes with another Arizona model, Kensington. By the end of 1999 she was working steadily in the mainstream adult video industry.
Despite stating on camera an age of eighteen in some videos^[1], she first appeared in adult movies 1998-99 when she was aged 20.^[2] She has been mistaken for a minor and in several cases where her images were mistaken for child pornography has successfully either testified for the defense or given evidence leading to those charges being dropped.^[3]
There are also early pictorials of her when she was pregnant but later she had a miscarriage. Melissa-Ashley does not own these pictures and therefore they are not posted on her official website.
