MENSTRIE GLEN

'Menstrie Glen' is the valley which separates Dumyat from Myreton Hill and the main body of the Ochil Hills. It contains a reservoir, which supplies excellent drinking water.
A ruined house, called Jerah, lies near the top of the glen, and was accessible by road from the Sheriffmuir side.
The lower part of the glen, accessible by footpath from Menstrie, gives easy access to routes to the summit of Dumyat.
