METAL HEART

'Metal Heart' is an 1985 release by German Heavy Metal band Accept.
It was recorded at Dierks-Studios, in Cologne, from October to December, 1984. With this album Accept attempted to crack the lucrative American market. This album was a cautious attempt to more accessibility and places a certain emphasis on hooks and melodies .
This album is often considered as one of the best albums of the band along with Balls to the wall, Restless & Wild and Breaker albums.
It contains several of their classic songs such as "Metal Heart" or "Living for Tonight"
The song "Metal Heart" is very well known for containing the cover of two famous classical themes:
The Tchaikovsky's Slavonic March (in the intro) and the Beethoven's Für Elise in the solo. This song was covered in 1998 by Norwegian Black Metal band Dimmu Borgir.
In this album the band also makes a detour into jazz territory with the unusual song "Teach Us to Survive"
The digitally remastered edition includes two live bonus tracks "Love Child" and "Living for Tonight".
