MICHAEL BURNS (CRICKETER)
'Michael Burns' (born February 6, 1969) in Lancashire, was an English cricketer who played for Somerset and Warwickshire in first class cricket.
Burns started his career at Warwickshire in 1992 as a wicketkeeper-batsman and moved to Somerset County Cricket Club 5 years later. He gave up the gloves and played as a specialist batsman. An aggressive right hander, he passed 1000 runs in 2002 and 2003 before being appointed captain.
