MICHAEL GUERIN
'Michael Guerin' is a fictional character from the television series Roswell. He was portrayed by actor Brendan Fehr. In the series his on/off girlfriend was Maria De Luca. He is part of the Royal Four of Antar, which includes, Max Evans, Isabel Evans and Tess Harding. He was the second in command of his former world, and a section of people believed that maybe if he was ruler than Antar would have been a better world. In Roswell he is very much the outsider, even more so than Max as he lived in a trailer park, and suffered abuse from his alcoholic Foster father. He often infuriated Max and Isabel as he tended to act impulsively and was very rash with his decisions. But looking at his background it was easy to see why, he wanted to get out of the situation he was in, and believed that life on Antar would have been much better than this. In Maria De Luca he finds a reason to stay, and realises that Earth isn't such a bad place for him. He also discovers that he is not the bad guy, as he states he sees himself as.

Season One
Michael is in the Cafe with Max when Liz gets shot, he tries to stop Max from helping her, as it is revealed later that Isabel, Max and Michael had all made a pact, never to use their powers in public, as it was just too dangerous. He gets the jeep and he and Max both make a quick exit from the Cafe. He wants to leave Roswell as soon as he realises that their cover has been blown, but is convinced to stay by the others. He hardly attends school and has trouble sleeping, when he hears from Liz about the possibility of a 4th alien having been in Roswell in 1959. He breaks into the sheriff's office to look for answers, but the files he needs had been taken by the FBI, so instead he finds a key, which gives him an image of a geometric dome.. He can't seem to get the image out of his head and goes to art class for the first time in a few months to draw it. From the James Atherton Book 'Among Us', Michael finds the location of the Dome. In getting there, he requests a ride from Maria Deluca, where their relationship firsts develops.
Powers and Abilities
Season 1:
In season one he is shown with the same molecular manipulation skills as the rest of the hybrids, but openly states he cannot control them as Max and Isabel can. In the season finale he is shown firing energy blasts from his hands (this leads to friction with Max as he sees himself as "the bad guy" and Max as the "good guy")
Season 2:
In season two he is shown to have much greater control, but his counterpart from New York is still better than him, as Michael cannot speed up a truck.
