MILLER, NEW SOUTH WALES

'Miller' is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is a low-income area, and it suffers from serious issues of drug-dealing, high crime rates and unemployment. A large number of properties in the area are owned by Housing Commission. The overwhelming majority of the population comes from an Anglo-Celtic background, and there is also a lot of Samoans and Lebanese. It is the home of Miller Shopping Centre and Miller Technological High School, which contains an English-language program for immigrant children form the entire Liverpool council area.
