MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY 45
'Minnesota State Highway 45' is a highway in northeast Minnesota, which runs from Interstate Highway 35 in Scanlon to Minnesota Highway 210 in Carlton.

The northern terminus for Minnesota 45 is the interchange of I-35 and Minnesota 45 in Scanlon.
The southern terminus for Minnesota 45 is the intersection of 3rd Street and Highway 210 in Carlton.
History
The route was paved as early as 1929.
This route does not currently include any of its original marked extent. The surviving segment of Minnesota Highway 45 (from Scanlon to Carlton) is part of the original U.S. Highway 61.
The route originally designated Minnesota 45 is the extension of this route northwest of I-35 to downtown Cloquet. This segment was turned back to Carlton County / city of Cloquet maintenance around 1995 and is now known as ''County Highway 45''.
