MOLINELLA

'Molinella' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 30 km northeast of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 14,700 and an area of 128.1 km².^[1]
The municipality of Molinella contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Marmorta, S.Martino in Argine, S.Pietro Capofiume, and Selva Malvezzi.
Molinella borders the following municipalities: Argenta, Baricella, Budrio, Medicina.
