MONICA CALHOUN

'Monica Calhoun' (born July 29, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States) is an African American film and television actress. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
She has starred in Bagdad Cafe and several sitcoms including ''The Wayans Bros.'', ''A Different World'' and ''The Jamie Foxx Show''. She has also appeared in the films ''Bagdad Café'', [(The Salon)] 2007 film ("Vivica Fox") ''The Best Man'' and ''Love & Basketball''.Calhoun also played the cousin of actress LisaRaye in Ice Cube's directorial debut; ''The Players Club''.
Calhoun has worked with a number of Academy Award-winning and nominated actors and filmmakers, including: Forrest Whitaker (''Rebound''), Tatum O'Neal (''15 and Getting Straight''), Suzanne de Passe (''), Jack Palance (''Baghdad Café''), Jamie Foxx (''The Jamie Foxx Show'' and ''The Player's Club''), Whoopi Goldberg ('', ''Bagdad Cafe T.V. Show''), Terrance Howard (''The Best Man''), Cicely Tyson(''Sounder'') and Don Cheadle (''Rebound'').
She has also worked with Grammy Awards Winners Bobby Brown (''Gang of Roses''), Mos Deff, MC Lyte and DaBrat (''Civil Brand'') and Vanessa Williams (''The Jacksons: An American Dream'').
Calhoun also graduated the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts alongside Anthony Anderson, Shondrella Avery, Tammy Townsend and Jenna Elfman.
