MONTEDORO

'Montedoro' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Caltanissetta in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 km southeast of Palermo and about 20 km west of Caltanissetta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,751 and an area of 14.1 km².^[1]
Montedoro borders the following municipalities: Bompensiere, Canicattì, Mussomeli, Racalmuto, Serradifalco.
