'Ride On' is the primary public transportation system in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ride On serves Montgomery County as well as the Urbana Park and Ride lot in Urbana (Frederick County), and the community of Langley Park in Prince George's County. Ride On also serves the Takoma Metro station, and Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Ride On operates a fleet consisting mainly of diesel and CNG buses produced by Orion Bus Industries and the Gillig Corporation. Ride-On also operates a small fleet of New Flyer C40LF CNG buses, Gillig LF HEV diesel-hybrid buses, and cutaway vehicles (ElDorado body/International chassis and Startrans body/Ford chassis).
The bus fleet, owned and operated by Ride-On, is distributed among two garages in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg. Gaithersburg garage is located adjacent to the Shady Grove rail yard.
The cutaway fleet, owned by Ride On and operated by MV Transportation, is located in two separate garages within the county.
