The 'Moravian Karst' (in Czech 'Moravský kras') is a karst (cave system) area to the north of Brno in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. This limestone area is a nature reserve containing around 400 caves in a 100 km² area. Four of the caves are open for public exploration.
