MORDEN, MANITOBA

'Morden' () is a town of about 6200 people in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It is the second-largest community in the Pembina Valley, behind nearby Winkler. The current mayor of Morden is Doug Wilson.
The current Deputy Mayor is Alex Fedorchuk.
The rest of the Morden Town Council consists of Councilors Irvin Wiebe, Maurice Butler, Wayne Hosea, Ron Laverty, Brian Hildebrand and Bryton Moen.
This current town council will serve from October 2006 to October 2010.
The Town was voted "Best In Country Living" by Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine. [1]
Every year on the last weekend of August, Morden holds the Corn and Apple Festival, where those who attend can enjoy free corn and apple cider. It is the largest festival in the Pembina Valley
The largest collection of marine reptile fossils from 80 million years ago is located at the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre in Morden. [2]
The Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame museum is located in Morden.
The Pembina Hills Art Gallery is also located in Morden.
