MORGAN PLUS 8

The 'Morgan Plus 8' is an automobile built by British car makers Morgan between 1968 and 2004.
It was based on the chassis design of the Morgan Plus 4 extended by 2 inches (50 mm) in wheelbase and the same in the track but the big change was the engine which was the Rover V8 unit, which at first had a capacity of 3528 cc, coupled to a 4 speed gearbox.
In 1972 the original gearbox was replaced by one from the Rover 3500 and then by the five speed unit from the Rover SD1 in 1976.
