'Moto Hospitality' is a company which operates motorway service stations in the UK. They were known as Granada until about 2000, when bought by Compass, becoming the Select Service Partner UK division. Cafes included at Moto service areas which differ between location include: Burger King, Fresh Express, Harry Ramsden's Upper Crust, Little Chef and Caffe Ritazza. Retailers include Birthdays, The Body Shop, Fonebitz, Ladbrokes, Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Scoop, T2 and Thorntons. Moto service areas also have Esso petrol stations and many Moto service areas have Travelodge hotels. Unlike rivals Welcome Break and RoadChef Moto are the only major service area operator to provide cash machines which do charge a fee on withdrawal. It was recently announced that W H Smith will open outlets in all moto service stations.
It is owned by the Macquarie Bank, since the Compass Group sold off SSP in April 2006 for £1,822m. SSP is based in Weybridge.
