MOTORI MODERNI

'Motori Moderni' was a Formula One engine manufacturer from 1985 through 1987. It was established by the experienced Italian engine designer Carlo Chiti.
Chiti, a former Alfa Romeo F1 chief engineer, formed Motori Moderni to make ''tipo 615-90'' V6 turbo engines, which were used by the Minardi F1 team from 1985 to 1987. A later normally-aspirated 12 cylinder 'boxer' engine design was sold to Subaru for the unsuccessful Coloni F1 team.
