MUD RIVER (KENTUCKY)
The 'Mud River' is a tributary of the Green River in western Kentucky in the United States. Via the Green and Ohio Rivers, it is part of the Mississippi River watershed. It is about 70 mi (113 km) long [1].
The Mud rises about 5 mi (8 km) east of Russellville and flows generally northward, through Logan County and forming the border between Muhlenberg and Butler Counties. It joins the Green River at the town of Rochester.
