MYRTLE-LEAVED ORANGE


The 'myrtle-leaved orange' (''C. aurantium, var. myrtifolia'' (Ker-Gawl)) is a variety of ''Citrus aurantium'' with foliage similar to that of the common myrtle.
It is a compact shrub or tree with small leaves and no thorns. The fruits of the tree are sour or bitter, and are commonly called by their Italian name, chinotto.
