N'TON

'N'ton' was the Fort Weyrleader in Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonriders of Pern" series. He and his young bronze, Lioth, were a consistent pair after they Impressed at Benden Weyr in Ramoth's initial clutch by Mnementh. Naton, as he had been then, was a Smith lad.
After T'ron was sent to the Southern Continent, N'ton was named Weyrleader of Fort Weyr after his bronze flew Weyrwoman Margatta's gold Ludeth. He is a kindly man and befriended the young Lord Jaxom of Ruatha Hold.
