'NTL' is an acronym for National Transcommunications Limited and may refer to:

★ A company established in 1990 to own and operate the assets of the Independent Broadcasting Authority's Engineering Division; which were privatised when the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) was disbanded on New Years Day 1991 ; this company was subsequently bought by International CableTel.

NTL Ireland - the aforementioned company's former operation in the Republic of Ireland, divested to UPC Ireland.

★ International CableTel who then adopted under the NTL brand before merging with Telewest and subsequently adopting the NTL:Telewest brand.

Virgin Media - a company formed by the merger of NTL:Telewest, and Virgin Mobile in 2006.

Arqiva - the company formerly called ''NTL Broadcast'' which was sold by NTL in 2004.
