NAKAYAMA YOSHIKO
'Nakayama Yoshiko' (January 1836–October 5, 1907, Japanese 中山慶子) was a Japanese lady-in-waiting. She was the daughter of Lord Nakayama Tadayasu, sometime minister of the left (sadaijin) and a member of the Fujiwara family. She was a concubine of Emperor Kōmei and the mother of Emperor Meiji. She is buried in Toshimagaoka cemetery in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
