NAKHON PATHOM

Phra Pathom Chedi

'Nakhon Pathom' is a town in central Thailand, capital of the Nakhon Pathom Province. The most important landmark is the giant Phra Pathom Chedi.
Another known landmark is the Buddhist temple Wat Bang Phra where a tattoo festival is held every year with many thousands of participants.
Nakhon Pathom also houses a campus of Silpakorn University within the Sanam Chan Palace.
