NEGRAR

'Negrar' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 km west of Venice and about 12 km northwest of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,705 and an area of 40.5 km².^[1]
The municipality of Negrar contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Arbizzano, Fane, Mazzano, Montecchio, Prun, S. Maria, and Torbe.
Negrar borders the following municipalities: Grezzana, Marano di Valpolicella, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, and Verona.
